KOCHI: Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Japan, (MELCO), a major player in electrical and electronic equipments and NeST, a premier provider of specialized software and engineering services have announced the setting up of an exclusive development center.
The Center was inaugurated on Friday by Mr. Hiroyuki Morikane Head, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Sanda Works, Japan.
This exclusive development centre located at NeST Towers inside Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram will cater to the increasing demand for complex software found in new generation cars.
The centre, with an initial capacity for 200 engineers, will be staffed by highly qualified and experienced NeST engineers to develop advanced in-vehicle systems that MELCO supplies to the world's leading car manufacturers.
"The setting up of this exclusive development centre is a milestone in the relationship between NeST and MELCO" said Mr. N Jehangir, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, NeST Group.
Mr Morikane San, Head Sanda Works, MELCO said "We have been working with NeST for over 5 years and I am very happy that an exclusive development center for MELCO is being established within NeST".
